Job Description

**Part\-Time Bookkeeper / Administrative Assistant** **Ohio CineMotion** is a camera, lighting, and grip rental house serving the Cleveland film and production community. We’re looking for a detail\-oriented **part\-time Bookkeeper / Administrative Assistant** to help manage bookkeeping, office administration, and back\-end business systems. This is a **hybrid part\-time role**. Most work can be done remotely on your own schedule, with **3–4 in\-office days per month** at our Cleveland\-area office for mail, checks, filing, onboarding paperwork, and team check\-ins. Schedule * Approximately **18–22 hours per week** * Primarily remote and flexible * 3–4 required in\-office days per month * Must live within a reasonable commute of Cleveland, Ohio Compensation **$22–$28/hour**, based on experience. Candidates with strong QuickBooks, payroll, HR, or small\-business bookkeeping experience may qualify for the higher end of the range. Responsibilities * Categorize expenses and maintain records in QuickBooks * Prepare monthly expense, balance, and bank reports * Help with invoicing, accounts receivable, and past\-due follow\-up * Process vendor/freelance payments and assist with timecards * Support payroll alongside ownership * Help track sales tax, insurance renewals, vehicle/DOT registrations, and other compliance items * Organize employee, vendor, customer, and onboarding paperwork * Handle mail, check deposits, filing, and in\-person paperwork on office days * Help clean up a backlog of administrative projects and improve office systems Requirements * 2\+ years of bookkeeping or accounting support experience * Strong QuickBooks experience required * Highly organized and detail\-oriented * Able to manage recurring deadlines independently * Comfortable working remotely with minimal oversight * Reliable for scheduled in\-office days * Trustworthy with sensitive financial, banking, payroll, and personnel information * Strong written communication skills Nice to Have * HR administration experience * Payroll coordination experience * Experience with RentalWorks or rental/inventory software * Small\-business experience * Experience in a service, rental, or production\-related business Why This Role This is a flexible part\-time role with real ownership.
