We’re looking for a Product Owner to join our high-performing, mission-driven Professional Services (ProServ) team. In this role, you’ll act as the critical link between our clients’ business needs and our engineering capabilities by translating complex requirements into impactful, scalable solutions.Our mission is to empower our users to accelerate change in the world with confidence. Through best practices in software adoption, deep expertise in grants and CSR, and enterprise-level service, we deliver value quickly, build trust, and help future-proof our clients’ programs.Success in this role is defined by your ability to maximize engineering efficiency while delivering exceptional customer outcomes. You’ll work across client-facing engagements and internal teams, ensuring the right work is prioritized, clearly defined, and delivered with quality.This is a full-time position that reports to the Senior Manager of Technical Professional Services.How You’ll Make an ImpactTranslate complex customer requirements into clear, actionable features that align with client goals and technical capabilitiesOwn and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring all work is well-defined, scoped, and ready for developmentLead backlog refinement and support sprint execution by keeping engineering teams focused, unblocked, and alignedDefine clear acceptance criteria to ensure delivered solutions meet both client expectations and technical standardsProactively identify dependencies, risks, and blockers, and drive solutions to maintain delivery momentumServe as the primary liaison between client stakeholders, Professional Services, Project Management, and Engineering teamsFacilitate alignment across business and technical partners to ensure shared understanding and successful outcomesOccasionally manage smaller client engagements end-to-end, ensuring timely delivery and strong communicationSupport Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, refinement, retrospectives, and standups as neededBuild strong cross-functional relationships and contribute to a collaborative, high-performing team environmentPartner with globally distributed teams, including collaborating with engineers in India (~15% of your time, with some schedule flexibility required)What We’re Looking ForAgile Product Ownership: At least 2 years of experience managing backlogs, refining user stories, and defining clear acceptance criteria (Jira or similar tools)Project Delivery: Proven ability to manage projects or features end-to-end, ensuring work is delivered on time and aligned to requirementsClient-Centric Approach: Experience working directly with clients or stakeholders to gather requirements, manage expectations, and deliver valueTechnical Aptitude: Comfortable collaborating with engineering teams and able to learn and apply technical concepts such as APIs, integrations, and system workflowsCross-Functional Collaboration: Ability to work effectively across Product, Engineering, and Project Management to drive alignment and executionCommunication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex or ambiguous requirements into clear, actionable planPrioritization & Execution: Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and keep work moving forward in a fast-paced environmentLocation: This is a remote, U.S.-based role and you must live and reside in the U.S. full-time. Compensation: The annual salary for this position is $90,000-110,000. Actual compensation is based on factors such as the candidate's skills, qualifications, experience, and location.We are interested in every qualified candidate eligible to work in the United States; however, we cannot accommodate scholastic or employment visas at this time.
