We're looking for passionate, dedicated, innovative game-changers to join our team and drive the future of Gurobi.The Revenue Accountant is a key member of Gurobi’s Revenue Accounting and Controllership organization, responsible for supporting global revenue recognition operations in accordance with ASC 606. This role partners cross-functionally with Sales Operations, Deal Desk, Licensing, Billing, and FP&A to ensure accurate contract setup, revenue recognition, deferred revenue accounting, and month-end close execution across Gurobi’srevenue streams.The ideal candidate has experience in SaaS or enterprise software revenue accounting environments and is comfortable working within evolving systems and processes, including NetSuite ARM, ZoneBilling, Salesforce, and contract-based revenue workflows. The Revenue Accountant will play an important role in helping scale Gurobi’s revenue operations infrastructure by supporting process optimization, automation initiatives, andoperational improvements across billing, revenue recognition, and reporting workflows. Revenue Recognition & ASC 606 OperationsExecute month-end close activities includingorder validation and preparing journal entries, reconciliations, androllforwardsReview customer contracts and order forms to support appropriate ASC 606 revenue recognition treatment, including identification of performance obligations, non-standard terms, and billing structures impacting revenue recognition and allocation decisionsProcess contract modifications, amendments, credits, and revenue adjustments within NetSuite ARMCollaborate with FP&A on revenue forecasting and budget-to-actual analysisSupport monthly management reporting and assist with ad-hoc revenue accounting projectsSystems & Revenue AutomationSupport NetSuite ARM revenue arrangement setup, validation, and optimizationAssistwith administration and ongoing improvement of ZoneBilling and ARM-related workflowsReview and validate data accuracy across revenue systems to ensure completeness and integrity of revenue reportingAssist with identifying automation opportunities across revenue recognition, reconciliations, reporting, and contract review workflowsSupport testing, implementation, and optimization of revenue system enhancements and automation initiativesLeverage AI-enabled tools, automation technologies, and modern workflow solutions to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual processesOperational & Cross-Functional SupportPartner cross-functionally with Sales Operations, Deal Desk, Licensing, Billing, and FP&A teams to support operational alignment between contract execution, billing, and revenue recognition; resolve billing discrepancies, andimprove upstream data quality.Assist with monthly billing and collections activities, as neededCommunicate complex accounting and billing matters clearly and professionally to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, while demonstrating a collaborative, team-oriented mindset and a willingness to challenge existing processes constructively to improve operational efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
