C.H. Robinson is seeking a motivated problem solver to join our dynamic Accounts Payable team, where your work directly supports global operations. In this role, you will own payment processing, supplier maintenance, and corporate card activities while partnering with internal teams and suppliers to resolve inquiries and discrepancies. You’ll play a key role in month‑end close and continuous improvement efforts that help the team work smarter and faster. This is an opportunity to build strong professional relationships, expand your AP expertise, and contribute ideas that make a real impact in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESThe duties and responsibilities of this position consists of, but are not limited to, the following:Process payments and supplier maintenance in accordance with Service Level Expectations (SLAs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)Responsible for T&E corporate card administrative tasksResearch and resolve all related inquiries (including payment disputes)Communicate with employees and suppliers to resolve discrepancies in a timely and professional mannerReview supplier statements as part of payment inquiry resolutionSupport month end close processProvide timely escalation of issues requiring 2nd level support to Accounts Payable Supervisor or ManagerContribute ideas for process improvementParticipate in and support department projects and company initiatives as requiredDevelop professional relationships with internal and external partners, maintain open lines of communication and build rapport by providing timely and professional serviceContinue to develop skills and build upon knowledge of Accounts Payable processesQUALIFICATIONSRequired:High School diploma or GED equivalentMinimum 2 years of experience using accounting principalsPreferred:Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of programsIntermediate knowledge of OracleAbility to perform in a dynamic, ever-changing environmentStrong attention to detail and ability to work well within a deadline driven environmentPerform functions efficiently and accuratelyStrong written and verbal communication skillsPositive, professional attitude and excellent customer service skills with an ability to deal with conflict/sensitive topicsStrong interpersonal skillsAbility to maintain confidentiality of sensitive informationValues a diverse and inclusive work environmentDisclaimer:This job description is intended to generally describe the nature and level of work to be performed by employees in this position.
