Senior Accounting Manager – Multi-Entity Accounting & Financial ReportingFull-Time | Remote | U.S. Business HoursAbout the RoleAt Pavago, one of our clients — a rapidly growing U.S. plumbing and home services company — is hiring a Senior Accounting Manager to own month-end close, financial reporting, reconciliations, and accounting controls across multiple entities.The company is scaling from $20M+ toward $50M+ in annual revenue, making this a high-impact role focused on building accurate, scalable, and private equity-ready accounting processes.Reporting to the VP of Accounting, you’ll have significant ownership and a clear growth path toward Corporate Accounting Manager.What You’ll OwnMonth-End Close & Financial Reporting Own the full month-end close across multiple entities and locations Prepare accurate financial statements and supporting schedules Manage P&L reporting by business unit Investigate variances and unusual financial trends Maintain reporting in accordance with U.S. GAAP General Ledger & Reconciliations Perform and review bank, credit card, and balance sheet reconciliations Maintain accurate general ledger accounts and supporting schedules Complete balance sheet tie-outs Identify and resolve accounting discrepancies quickly AR & Payroll Analysis Oversee accounts receivable and outstanding balances Review weekly multi-location payroll reports Analyze payroll, labor costs, trends, and discrepancies Support accurate financial planning and reporting Audit, Controls & Process Improvement Support internal and external audits across revenue, AR, inventory, fixed assets, AP, debt, equity, and payroll Prepare audit schedules and supporting documentation Evaluate and test internal controls Identify financial risks and potential misstatements Build stronger, more scalable accounting processes as the company grows What We’re Looking For 5+ years of progressive accounting experience Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field Proven ownership of the full month-end close Strong multi-entity or multi-location accounting experience Expert-level QuickBooks Online proficiency Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP Experience preparing financial statements and P&L reports Strong general ledger and balance sheet reconciliation experience Experience reviewing accounts receivable and payroll Advanced Microsoft Excel skills Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and English communication skills Comfortable working independently during U.S. business hours Nice to Have CPA or equivalent accounting qualification Public accounting or external audit experience Internal controls and audit testing experience Private equity-backed or high-growth company experience Construction, plumbing, HVAC, home services, or field-service industry experience What Success Looks Like Accurate and timely month-end closes Reliable financial statements across all entities Clean balance sheet and GL reconciliations Strong audit readiness and internal controls Accurate AR and payroll reporting Fewer accounting discrepancies and reporting issues Scalable processes that support continued company growth Why This Role Stands Out High ownership over a growing multi-entity accounting function Direct exposure to the VP of Accounting and company leadership Help build a PE-ready accounting infrastructure Join a business scaling toward $50M+ revenue Clear growth path into a Corporate Accounting Manager role Fully remote opportunity Interview Process Initial Recruiter Screening Spark Hire Intro Video Client Interview Offer & Onboarding What Happens After You ApplyQualified candidates will receive a Spark Hire invitation to complete a short Intro Video.
