Exciting Remote BigID SME contract opportunity. RequirementsWe’re looking for a BigID SME Consultant to lead end-to-end deployments, upgrades, and integrations of the BigID platform for enterprise clients. This role requires strong hands-on experience with BigID and the ability to work directly with customers to ensure successful implementations.Key Responsibilities:Lead BigID deployments and upgrades across on-prem and cloud environmentsImplement and configure BigID for data discovery, classification, and cataloging across structured and unstructured data sourcesIntegrate BigID with databases, data lakes, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and SaaS applicationsConfigure PII, PHI, PCI, GDPR, CCPA policies and data classification rulesSupport data privacy workflows such as DSAR, consent management, and data retentionDevelop and customize BigID scans, connectors, and metadata ingestionTroubleshoot issues and optimize performanceRequirements:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field, or equivalent experienceExperience with BigID and data governance/privacy toolsStrong knowledge of APIs, Linux, scripting (Python/Shell), and cloud platformsHands-on experience in a Professional Services or consulting roleExcellent communication and client-facing skillsProven ability to lead projects independentlyOriginally posted on Himalayas
