We believe in going the extra mile and aim to make a genuine difference in our participants’ lives.The People Senior Specialist (Workforce Planning & Development) plays a critical role in shaping the future of WelbeHealth’s workforce. This senior individual contributor partners closely with the Chief People Officer, People Team leadership, and cross-functional leaders to design and execute forward-looking workforce strategies that support WelbeHealth’s growth, scalability, and mission expansion.This role blends strategic workforce planning, talent pipeline development, and program execution to ensure WelbeHealth has the right people, in the right roles, at the right time—today and in the future.This role is different because the People Senior Specialist at WelbeHealth:Drives enterprise workforce strategy and innovation, shaping how we scale to serve more vulnerable seniors through future-of-work models, AI/technology, and forward-looking talent planningBuilds and executes end-to-end workforce solutions, from developing sustainable talent pipelines and external partnerships to creating career pathways that attract, develop, and retain our team membersEssential Job Duties:Partner with the Chief People Officer and People Team leadership to develop and deliver WelbeHealth’s workforce development strategy; Build and maintain multi-year workforce projections, aligning talent needs with organizational growth, emerging skillsets, specialized roles, and service line expansionExploration of traditional and novel talent pools for immediate and long-term needs; Explore and implement innovative workforce models, including flexible staffing approaches and AI/technology-enabled solutionsIdentify gaps and opportunities in workforce capabilities and develop strategies to address both immediate and long-term talent needsEstablish and cultivate partnerships with academic institutions and workforce development boards to build pipelines of students, alumni, and community-based talent into WelbeHealth, support internal career mobility and professional development pathways and Advance awareness and research of the PACE model and WelbeHealth’s missionDesign and manage grant processes, including identifying opportunities, leading applications, and overseeing implementation and measurement of outcomesIn partnership with the Medical Practice, Operations, and functional disciplines, oversees rotation and internship programs, including observation/residencies/electives for physicians, nurses, social workers, physical therapists, occupational therapists and registered dietitians. Partners with Talent team on novel sources of talent, including international/domestic relocation, inter-market transfer programs, externships, and volunteers.Job Requirements:Bachelor’s degree or commitment to attain a bachelor’s degree within three (3) years required; equivalent experience may be substitutedMinimum of ten (10) years of professional experience in human resources, with a minimum of five (5) years specializing in workforce planning, Talent strategy/talent pipeline development, or workforce development programsExperience building and managing external partnerships (e.g., academic institutions, workforce boards, community organizations) preferredProven ability to lead initiatives from strategy through execution, including program design, implementation, and measurementDemonstrated expertise in both design and execution in the assigned areaStrong project management, stakeholder engagement, and change management skillsAbility to think both strategically and operationally in a fast-paced, high-growth environmentBenefits of Working at WelbeHealth: Apply your expertise in new ways as we rapidly expand.
