Position DescriptionGray Hawk Land Solutions is currently hiring a Right-of-Way Regulatory Permit Agent in Texas. The individual we seek must be a self-starter who can perform the below tasks. This person must have experience dealing with local government agencies and state regulatory agencies. This position is remote but will require travel to Houston, TX and project locations.Qualifications and ResponsibilitiesEnsures that permits are acquired correctly and promptlyCommunicates directly with the client regarding agreement language, compensation, insurance requirements, bonds, and long lead itemsCollaborates and communicates with other permit agents, survey crew, drill crew, and recording crew to maximize efficienciesParticipates in the permit project start-up meetings and ensure an absolute understanding of all topics discussedCompletes all necessary paperworkResearch ownership for surface and/or mineralsWorks directly with the project manager, project engineers, and surveyors to receive the necessary documents such as calculations, pipeline specifications, and exhibitsSupports surveying, drilling, and recording phases, making sure permit stipulations are followed, and addressing problems as the issues ariseDemonstrate excellent computer knowledge through effective use of software including Microsoft Office applications (i.e., Outlook, Word, Excel) and database use.Able to work well in a team environment or an individual role.Other duties as assigned or requiredJob Requirements:Minimum of 5 years’ relative experience.Good communication and organizational skills.Knowledgeable about survey drawings, engineering drawings, and alignments sheets.Strong communication skills.Ability to effectively handle multiple tasksAbility to work autonomously and to collaborate fully as a team player.Ability to pay close attention to details, and present good planning, organization, and time management skills.Ability to work in a team environment and willingness to assume additional or new responsibilities readily.Ability to maintain regular attendance as per work schedule agreed with manager (may require working an adjusted work schedule based on project assigned and work overtime if warranted).Ability to comply with applicable laws and regulations and Company policies and proceduresPay Rate:This position offers a competitive 6 day per week pay rate plus per diem for qualifying days.
