Job Description
As we move forward with the growth and expansion of Commercial Roof & Wall within Shelter Solutions, the Regional Sales Manager will be an instrumental part of the strategic planning and implementation. Extending the market share for MBCI within the Commercial Roof & Wall segment will account for the largest percentage of growth over the next three years. This role will be based and travel within the western U.S.ScopeManages Team of ten - twelve sales managers across large geographic regionResponsible for $50M - $75M with objectives to expand the portfolio by 2 – 3X in three yearsResponsibilitiesEstablish sales targets to meet company objectives Responsible for developing strategic sales plans based on company goals that will promote sales growth and customer satisfaction for the organizationThis key leader will partner with business development to extract maximum value from project specifications to drive increased close ratios and margin expansionTheir collaboration with cross-functional leaders will be a critical success factor in driving a coordinated go-to-market strategy for all commercial roof, wall, and associated product solutionsEssential FunctionsDevelops annual sales plan in support of MBCI organization strategy and objectivesDirects implementation and execution of sales policies and practicesEnsures communications are coordinated, supports sales plan objectives and meets organizational expenditure requirements in conjunction with marketingCoordinate growth strategies with Business Development to expand market share for metal roof and wall on all types of building projectsRecommends sales strategies for improvement based on market research and competitor analysesCapable of leading integration initiatives to support aggressive M&A strategyCreate a sales culture where exceptional customer service is the standardDrive sales performance through acquisition and development of exceptional talentBuilds, develops and manages sales team capable of carrying out needed sales and service initiativesPerforms other related duties as assignedBachelor’s degree in business administration, sales, marketing, or related field is required10 or more years in sales leadership role to include executive level work experience is requiredStrong knowledge and experience in technical oriented product sellingEquivalent experience in a similar industry or product field is preferredExceptional leadership, interpersonal and communication skills including ability to lead successfully in a matrixed environmentAbility to influence leadership to adopt new ideas, products, and/or approachesProven track record of leading teams to execute on strategy and deliver superior resultsRemote office location is acceptable with regular travel expected to support the businessOur teams are at the heart of our purpose to positively contribute to the communities where we live, work and play. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
