This role is primarily administrative and operational, focused on supporting sales teams, coordinating customer-related processes, and ensuring accuracy across systems and documentation.The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, excels at managing multiple priorities, and plays a key role behind the scenes to ensure a seamless customer and sales experience. This position does not carry individual sales quotas or assigned accounts but is critical in supporting overall business operations and customer satisfaction.Responsibilities and QualificationsKey ResponsibilitiesAdministrative & Sales SupportProvide administrative support to sales teams across multiple regions, including quote entry, order processing, and documentation managementAssist with preparing and processing customer quotes, ensuring accuracy and completenessSupport order lifecycle activities, including entry, updates, and coordination with internal teamsMaintain organized and accurate records of customer interactions and transactionsCustomer & Internal CoordinationAct as a central point of contact for internal teams to support customer-related inquiries and requestsCoordinate with sales, operations, and logistics teams to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillmentAssist in resolving customer issues by gathering information and facilitating communication across departmentsSupport a seamless customer experience through timely follow-up and attention to detailCRM & Data ManagementMaintain and update CRM with accurate customer, order, and activity dataEnsure data integrity across systems to support reporting and operational efficiencyGenerate reports and assist with tracking key metrics as neededProduct & Process SupportDevelop a working knowledge of FBM products, systems, and processesSupport internal teams with product-related information and documentation as neededParticipate in training to stay current on systems, tools, and processesAdditional Responsibilities & MiscellaneousPerform other duties as assigned to support customer development and corporate objectivesQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent required; Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred2+ years of experience in a customer service, administrative, or sales support roleExperience working with CRM systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritiesExcellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across teamsDetail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and process consistencyAbility to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environmentExperience in building materials, distribution, or related industry preferredFamiliarity with order entry, quoting, or sales support processes preferredCompensation and BenefitsReports ToCustomer Development Manager CompensationThe listed pay range reflects the expected base rate for this position. Within the range, individual pay may vary based on experience, qualifications, and work location within state. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.Base: $23.08 - $26.44 per hourBonus: $1,700 per month for the first 6 months.Total Compensation (Base + Bonus): The successful candidate could reasonably expect a Total Compensation Package in the range of $68,406 - $75,395Equity: This role is not eligible for equity opportunities, awards or grantsBenefitsAt FBM, we’re committed to supporting our employees both personally and professionally.
