OverviewGovCIO is currently hiring for a Senior Financial Analyst to support our National Security Sector. This position will be fully remote within the United States, with the office located in Fairfax, VA. The candidate may have to visit the Fairfax office once or twice a year.ResponsibilitiesProduce timely and accurate financial reporting deliverables including program trend analysis, variance analysis against budget and prior forecasts and monthly reporting for executive managementManage multiple programs and support the creation and development of quarterly forecasts and annual operating budgetsProvide value-add analysis of key program drivers, risks, and opportunitiesProvide data and analysis to support program operational reviewsSupport the program month-end close process including cost accruals, revenue recognition and expense reviewsMonitor subcontracting spending and help support subcontractor voucher approvals Collaborate with Accounting, Contracts, Procurement and other corporate back-office departments to facilitate program operationsPerform other duties as assignedQualificationsRequired ExperienceBachelor's with 8+ years (or commensurate experience) 8+ years in Finance role (Program Finance, Project Control and/or Financial Planning and Analysis) demonstrating career progression with increased responsibility and scopeGovernment Contracting experience; Knowledgeable with principles of CAS, FAR and GAAPAdvanced Excel user including pivot tables, complex formulas, and modelingExcellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to relay complex information conciselyMust be a self-motivated, energetic, critical thinker that is able to work with diverse teamExperience with multiple types of contracts including FFP, T&M and Cost TypeCandidate may be required to obtain and maintain a U.S. DoW security clearance; U.S. citizenship is requiredPreferred Skills & ExperienceExperience with Deltek Costpoint accounting systemWorking knowledge of TM1 Forecasting software and Cognos ReportingExperience managing OCONUS programs (Labor/ODCs) is a plus Active DoW clearance is a plus Company OverviewGovCIO is a team of transformers--people who are passionate about transforming government IT.
