Tax Preparer and Bookkeeper

Clear Eyes Consulting is a consulting firm dedicated to bringing operational and financial efficiencies to the hot mess entrepreneurs that we work with. Established in 2014, our goal is to create calm in the chaos of growing businesses, and eliminate the fear, jargon, and intimidation felt about money. We are expanding and looking for a rock\-star to join the team. This positions’ primary goal will be to support our clients. Responsibilities include: * Maintain accurate and up\-to\-date financial records using QuickBooks Online. * Perform bank and account reconciliation to ensure the accuracy of financial data. * Conduct year end reviews for clients books * Respond to client questions and requests * Communicate financial statements monthly, quarterly, and/or annually * Prepare personal tax returns (incl. self employment income), as well as simple corporate tax returns Skills: * Proficiency in using accounting QuickBooks Online * Strong knowledge of account reconciliation principles and practices. * Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping. * Personal tax preparation experience, including self employment and rental income reporting * Simple corporate tax preparation * Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively. * Experience supervising and supporting a team If this sounds like you, we would love to hear from you. **Please submit your resume along with a cover letter detailing your relevant experience and hourly wage expectations**.
