As a Sr. MS Access Database Developer – Lead, you will maintain and enhance the client’s Financial Management Tool (FMT).Due to the nature of our work as a federal consulting organization, employees may be expected to handle Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) and must adhere to applicable safeguarding and compliance requirements. Responsibilities Leads development, maintenance, and optimization of the MS Access front-end and AWS/MariaDB backendManages forms, queries, reporting tables, automation, and ODBC connectivityEnsures reporting accuracy, daily refresh processes, performance tuning, and error resolutionOversees version control, data integrity, user support, and access/role managementRequirements8+ years of MS Access development experienceBachelor’s degree (4 years of additional experience is acceptable in lieu of a degree)Expertise with MariaDB/MySQLExperience in federal IT financial data systems and reporting automationStrong SQL and database integration skillsTravel RequirementsThis is a remote position; however, occasional travel may be required based on project needs, client meetings, team collaboration events, or training sessions. Travel is expected to be less than 10% and will be communicated in advance whenever possible.
