For this role, you will be engaged directly by the client as an independent contractor. We are not an outsourcing agency. All of our roles are 100% remote so you'll be able to work from home.Who The Client Is: They are a property development and construction group focused on sourcing, funding, and delivering residential projects across Western Australia. Through a collaborative investment model and a team of experienced building professionals, they manage multiple projects simultaneously, including new home construction and renovation developments. They are committed to delivering quality outcomes and creating long-term value through strategic property investments.Role Overview: We are looking for an experienced Residential Construction Scheduler to support our Contracts Administrator across three building companies. This is a busy, detailed-oriented role, you will be taking over from an existing team member, so the ability to hit the ground running is essential.Key Responsibilities: Build and maintain construction schedules across approximately 15 concurrent residential projects (new builds and renovations)Perform takeoffs from building plans to support cost planning and procurementCoordinate with subcontractors and trades to ensure schedules are metManage documentation, variations, and progress tracking across projectsSupport the Contracts Administrator with day-to-day administrative and commercial tasksMonitor project timelines and flag scheduling risks earlyAssist with invoice processing through internal systems (Tradies App / Buildertrend)RequirementsMinimum 3 years of relevant experience in a construction scheduling or related roleProven experience in residential construction scheduling, WA market specifically Ability to read and perform takeoffs from building plansStrong working knowledge of BuildertrendExceptional written and spoken English Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervisionNice to Have:Familiarity with BEAMS (one of our building companies still uses this platform)Experience with Tradies App or similar invoice processing toolsBackground supporting a contracts administrator in a multi-project environmentWork Arrangement & Expectations:This is a remote role that will be set up as an independent contractor engagement.To ensure alignment and transparency, successful candidates will be expected to:Disclose any existing ongoing roles or client workReflect this engagement on their LinkedIn profile (clearly marked as “Independent Contractor”)Originally posted on Himalayas
