Copy Editor

This is a remote position. We are a fast\-growing Information Security Consulting firm focused on helping large enterprises solve their cybersecurity problems. We are seeking a Longform Copy Editor to create and edit content that drives our sales organization. You will contribute content to presentations, customer deliverables, and online content. Specifically, you will produce high\-quality content on cybersecurity topics to support the sales team. This includes crafting compelling copy for solution briefs/whitepapers, editing customer deliverables, developing customer\-facing presentations, and writing blog posts and web copy that position our services as thought leaders. Job Description: Longform Copy Editor What you'll do Edit drafts from multiple contributors into a single, consistent voice Tighten longform content (1,300\+ words) without losing substance/POV Optimize copy for search without making it read like it was optimized for search: natural keyword integration (no keyword stuffing) Structure content for how people actually read on the web: scannability, subheads, front\-loaded points Enforce our house style and tone of voice (TOV) Fact\-check claims and flag anything that needs SME review Work across content types, from blog posts and thought leadership to case studies and technical explainers, with a consistent editorial bar Work closely with our copywriter on any materials that need alignment Requirements What you need Proven long\-form editing experience. You can showcase work you've shaped, not just proofread Strong grasp of SEO fundamentals: keyword placement, meta descriptions, header hierarchy, internal linking logic A strong understanding of web writing best practices. You know how online audiences consume content, and can structure copy to maximize readability and engagement Nice to have Experience editing in cybersecurity, IT, SaaS, or another technical B2B space Please attach a writing sample in the "Supporting documents" section of the Indeed application along with your resume or provide a link to your writing portfolio.
