**Virtual Assistant (Research, Data, and Systems)** **Location:** United States (must work U.S. Central Time hours) **Type:** Remote, part\-time (20\-25 hours/week, with room to grow) **About the role** I'm looking for a highly organized, detail\-oriented virtual assistant to help me run two businesses more smoothly \- a DTC pet\-supplement brand and an Amazon/DTC growth agency. At its core, this role is about taking the things I hand off and turning them into clean systems, then closing gaps wherever they show up. A lot of the work is sales research and data: building targeted lead lists, researching companies and finding decision\-makers, and keeping our information organized and accurate. But the bigger opportunity is in how we work. Because we'd be working closely day to day, I want someone who looks at the tools and processes I already use and helps me find faster, smarter ways to run them \- automating manual tasks, streamlining our systems and Amazon Seller Central, and taking the recurring reports that eat up my time off my plate. You should already be fluent with AI tools and using them to work smarter \- I don't want to teach that from scratch. Beyond the data itself, I want someone who can dig into real research \- staying on top of our pet\-supplement market, watching what competitors are doing, and spotting trends and opportunities worth acting on. And because this role sits so close to the day\-to\-day, plenty of it is the varied, in\-the\-moment work of helping a founder stay ahead \- whatever helps most that week. Some weeks lean toward the agency, some toward the brand, and not everything fits into neat categories. Tasks will show up as needed and priorities will shift, so the right fit is someone who stays organized and can pivot when something new lands. I run a small business where both skill and character carry real weight. The work demands sharp skills \- clean data, careful research, systems that actually hold up \- and just as much, I need someone with genuine integrity and discretion, since you'll have a window into sensitive parts of both companies.
