Join us in forging partnerships that bridge talent and multinational BPO opportunities, shaping the future of global business process outsourcing.Responsibilities:Provide written VAT advice in relation to purchase contractsSupport in providing regular VAT/GST advice on day-to-day businessProject management coordinate meetings with external and internal resources, track schedules, prepare slides, reports, and other documentsManage registrations and digital compliance of UK companies providing e-services to overseas clientsCoordinate the tax aspects of accounting and broking system upgrades and integration of newly acquired businessProvide IPT advice and manage the IPT communications prior experience is not essentialProvide cross coverage for UK VAT complianceEngage in tax controversy and audit defence supportSupport in the preparation of the UK group VAT returns and assist with all auxiliary activitiesTake responsibility for the collation and correct classification of VAT data in the accounting systemMonitor the correct invoicing process from a VAT perspectiveSupport the broking and consulting teams to achieve their business goals by synchronising the VAT advice with business objectivesRequirements:Strong knowledge of VAT return preparation for Partial Exempt companies. Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and research skillsAdvanced verbal and written communication skillsProactively embrace technology to enhance and improve all aspects of the indirect tax functionExcellent project management skills, including ability to organize files, project plans, data, etcAbility to effectively communicate indirect tax concepts and to collaborate outside of the indirect tax functionGeneral knowledge of key indirect tax related developments in Europe, Asia, and Middle EastQualifications:A Bachelors or Masters degreeA Legal degree or qualification will be desirable A professional accounting qualification CPA highly preferableshould be amenable to UK shiftOriginally posted on Himalayas
