Remote positive airway pressure device set ups are a growing field requiring individuals with experience and expertise in educating and assisting patients with their PAP machines. This position interfaces with patients, assisting them with all their PAP needs. The position is virtual and is an area of service that allows respiratory therapists to interact directly with patients who have pulmonary diseases.Excellent communication skills via telephone, video chat, text or email are expected. Attention to detail, prompt, and accurate work is expected to serve both patients and support physician clinic staff deliver virtual remote patient monitoring follow up to avoid readmissions and to teach and support the patient.
