Part\-Time Bookkeeper (Restaurant Industry Preferred) – Remote Location: RemotePosition: Part\-Time (8–15 hours per week to start)Compensation: Hourly rate negotiable based on experience About Us We are a growing hospitality company operating multiple restaurant and nightlife concepts. We are looking for a highly organized, technology\-driven Bookkeeper who can help modernize our accounting processes while providing accurate financial reporting and meaningful business insights. This is more than a traditional bookkeeping position. We are looking for someone who embraces modern technology, automation, and AI\-powered tools to streamline accounts payable, organize financial records, and improve reporting efficiency. Responsibilities * Manage all Accounts Payable and vendor payments. * Organize digital financial records and maintain documentation for bookkeeping and tax preparation. * Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and vendor statements. * Maintain accurate financial records in QuickBooks. * Work with Toast POS data and reconcile daily sales and deposits (Toast experience is a strong plus). * Identify opportunities to automate repetitive bookkeeping tasks using current technology and AI tools. * Improve workflows and establish efficient accounting systems. * Prepare monthly financial reports including: * Profit \& Loss Statements * Balance Sheets * Cash Flow Summaries * Accounts Payable Aging * Budget vs. Actual comparisons * Provide the owner with easy\-to\-understand monthly financial analytics that explain: * Where money is being spent * Spending trends * Areas of concern * Opportunities for cost savings * Recommendations for improving financial performance * Assist with year\-end organization and work closely with our CPA for tax preparation. Qualifications * 3\+ years of bookkeeping experience. * Restaurant, hospitality, or multi\-location business experience strongly preferred. * Advanced knowledge of QuickBooks. * Experience with Toast POS is highly preferred. * Strong understanding of Accounts Payable, reconciliations, and financial reporting. * Comfortable working remotely with cloud\-based accounting software. * Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail. * Self\-motivated and able to work independently. * Strong communication skills with the ability to explain financial information in a simple, understandable way. * Experience using modern accounting technology, automation platforms, AI tools, and document management systems is highly desirable.
