Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Onboarding & Project Management Specialist to lead the implementation of Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) services for ambulatory practices. This role is responsible for ensuring a seamless transition from sales to operations, establishing structured onboarding plans, tracking progress through data-driven reporting, and supporting invoicing for ancillary services.The ideal candidate brings strong knowledge of ambulatory RCM workflows, advanced Excel proficiency, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and timelines in a structured, fast-paced environment.Key ResponsibilitiesClient Onboarding & ImplementationLead onboarding of ambulatory RCM clients from contract execution through go-liveDevelop and manage structured project plans, timelines, and task trackersCoordinate cross-functional teams (Operations, IT, Client Success, Billing, Finance)Ensure system access, data readiness, workflow documentation, and process alignment prior to launchMonitor milestones and proactively escalate risks or delaysRCM Process OversightApply knowledge of ambulatory RCM workflows including:Charge entryCodingPayment postingAccounts receivable managementDenial managementPatient billingIdentify workflow gaps during onboarding and recommend improvementsSupport operational readiness reviews before client go-liveReporting & Data ManagementBuild and maintain onboarding dashboards and tracking toolsCreate Excel-based trackers for timelines, KPIs, and financial metricsAnalyze and reconcile onboarding-related financial dataProvide structured status reports to leadershipInvoicing & Financial SupportSupport invoicing for ancillary services during and after onboardingPrepare invoice documentation and validate supporting dataReconcile service tracking with billing recordsCollaborate with Finance and Client Relations to ensure billing accuracyQualifications3–5+ years of experience in healthcare Revenue Cycle Management (ambulatory setting preferred)Strong understanding of end-to-end RCM workflowsProven project management experience in onboarding or implementation rolesAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (PivotTables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas, financial analysis)Strong numerical aptitude and comfort working with financial dataExcellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skillsAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyExperience with EMR/Practice Management systems preferredCore CompetenciesDetail-oriented and analyticalProcess-driven and structuredStrong problem-solving skillsProactive in identifying risks and implementing solutionsComfortable working cross-functionallyClear and professional communicatorPreferred ExperienceExperience onboarding ambulatory practices to outsourced RCM servicesFamiliarity with ancillary service billingExperience working with offshore or distributed teamsExposure to CRM and project management toolsWhy Join Us?High-impact role supporting healthcare operations transformationOpportunity to lead structured implementations in a growing RCM environmentCollaborative, cross-functional team cultureCompetitive compensation and professional growth opportunitiesOriginally posted on Himalayas
