​​Looking for Filipino (Philippines-based) candidatesJob Role: Senior Social Media ManagerCompensation range: $1,500 - $2,500 AUD/monthEngagement type: Independent ContractorWork Schedule: This role is expected to align with the AU business hours (approx. 9.00 AM - 5 PM, Monday to Friday) for collaboration, but as a contractor, you’ll have flexibility in how you manage your time.Who We Are: At Hunt St, we help Australian companies directly hire top 5% remote talent in the Philippines. You will be hired directly by the client, typically as an independent contractor. We are not an outsourcing agency. All of our roles are 100% remote, so you'll be able to work from home.Who The Client Is:Our client is an established Australian business operating multiple brands across the custom apparel printing and beauty industries. They are focused on building strong, engaging digital presences that reflect their brand identity and connect authentically with their audiences.The business values creativity, originality, and consistency in content, with a strong emphasis on genuine engagement rather than generic or AI-generated outputs. They are currently looking to strengthen their social media presence across multiple brands through a dedicated and experienced operator.About the RoleWe are looking for a Senior Social Media Manager who is both creative and execution-focused, with strong experience managing multiple brand accounts end-to-end.This is a hands-on role where you will be responsible for content creation, scheduling, community management, and performance optimization across several brands. You will take ownership of social media execution — from ideation to publishing to engagement — ensuring all content is aligned, high-quality, and authentic.Key Responsibilities:Plan, create, and publish social media content approximately 3 times per week per brandEdit and repurpose existing content into engaging posts across platformsDesign graphics aligned with each brand’s identityPerform hashtag research and optimize content reachManage full community engagement, including:Responding to commentsManaging direct messages (especially Facebook messages)Handling responses to ad comments and inquiriesCreate and edit video content using provided materialsEnsure all content is authentic, high-quality, and non-genericCollaborate with the client to align content with brand voice and strategyMonitor engagement and suggest improvements to content performanceMaintain consistency across multiple brands while adapting tone and style accordinglyRequirementsRequired Skills and Qualifications:Proven experience as a Social Media Manager (preferably Senior level)Strong portfolio showcasing content creation, graphic design, and social media campaignsDemonstrated experience working with Australian or American brandsStrong video editing skills (short-form content, reels, promotional edits)Proficiency in design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Suite, or similar)Excellent copywriting skills with a focus on authentic, human-centered contentStrong understanding of social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, etc.)Experience in community management and customer interactionAbility to manage multiple brands and workflows independentlyStrong attention to detail and brand consistencyPreferred (Nice to Have):Experience handling multi-brand accounts simultaneouslyBackground in eCommerce, apparel printing, or beauty industriesFamiliarity with paid ads engagement (comment moderation, response handling)Strategic input on content direction and growthWork Arrangement & Expectations:This is a remote role that will be set up as an independent contractor engagement.To ensure alignment and transparency, successful candidates will be expected to:Disclose any existing ongoing roles or client workReflect this engagement on their LinkedIn profile (clearly marked as “Independent Contractor”)Originally posted on Himalayas
