This is a remote position.Job OverviewWe are seeking a proactive and results-drivenSales Development Representative (SDR)to support a growing food distribution business specializing in poultry products.This role focuses on B2B outreach and lead generation, where you will engage potential business clients, conduct basic consultative calls, and schedule qualified appointments for the sales team. You will play a key role in building and expanding the sales pipeline across targeted international markets, primarily within Southeast Asia (Philippines, Hong Kong, Vietnam, Singapore, Thailand), as well as Pacific Island countries (Papua New Guinea, Solomon Islands, Vanuatu, Fiji, Samoa, Tonga, Tuvalu, and Nauru). The role will also support selected markets in Africa and New Zealand.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct outbound prospecting (calls, emails, and messaging) toB2B prospectsIdentify and qualify potential clients within target marketsPerformbasic consultative discovery callsto understand client needs and requirementsPresent product offerings and value propositions tailored to business clientsSchedule and confirmqualified appointmentsfor the sales teamMaintain consistent follow-ups and nurture relationships with prospectsTrack outreach activities and manage lead information (no specific CRM required)Collaborate with the sales team to improve outreach strategies and conversion ratesQualifications and RequirementsProven experience as anSDR, Appointment Setter, or B2B Sales RepresentativeExperience inB2B outreach and lead generationAbility to conductconsultative conversationsand identify client needsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsHighly organized and results-drivenComfortable working within theAU timezoneAbility to work independently in a remote setupExperience in food distribution, FMCG, or related industries is a plusPreferred SkillsStrong relationship-building and stakeholder management skillsConfidence in handling initial discovery or qualification callsGoal-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding targetsAdaptable in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
