RN Nurse Health Specialist (Remote | California RN License Required | Rotating Pacific Time Schedule)

The Alignment Health Virtual Care Center is a collaborative approach to providing patients telehealth services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. It provides support for Alignment Healthcare patients by being available to address any concern at any time. This program provides patients with timely clinical assessment, triage, and virtual care support when they need it, with the goal of helping members receive the right level of care at the right time and preventing unnecessary hospitalizations, health complications, and unmanaged disease progression. Please Note: This position requires an active California RN license at the time of hire and is best suited for nurses with Emergency Department (ED), Urgent Care, ICU, CCU, Critical Care, Triage, or Telehealth experience. Applicants must possess an active, unrestricted California RN license at the time of hire. Candidates who do not currently hold a California RN license will not be considered. Alignment Health is seeking a remote RN Nurse Health Specialist to join the Virtual Care Center team. As a Nurse Health Specialist, you will serve as a frontline triage nurse, utilizing your clinical judgment to assess patient concerns, provide telephonic and video\-based clinical support, determine appropriate next steps in care, and escalate patient calls to an Advanced Practice Clinician (APC) when appropriate. You will manage patient care and treatment in collaboration with Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, Care Coordinators, and other members of the care team. This position is ideal for nurses with experience in Emergency Department (ED), Urgent Care, ICU, CCU, Critical Care, Triage Nursing, or Telehealth environments who thrive in a fast\-paced virtual setting and can independently manage multiple priorities while providing exceptional patient care and customer service.
