**Bilingual Adjunct Faculty – Hybrid** *Early Childhood Education* **Job Summary** This pool has been established to accept applications for openings for part\-time instructors that may arise throughout the year. Teach professional\-technical courses in the field of Early Childhood Education. **Location** Online/Campus, Carlsbad, Ca **Job Type** Part\-Time/Contracted **Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities** * Preparing, instructing, and grading all class coursework * Assigning final grades * Maintaining arranged office/virtual office hours to meet with students * Effective, Productive, and Creative Classroom Management * Utilize current research and current best practices in instruction * Contribute to student success by providing consistent and effective support and guidance through teaching, modeling, and mentoring * Perform other essential duties and tasks as assigned by the department and/or college **Qualifications, Knowledge, and Skill Requirements** * Minimum a master's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Education, or a related field * Minimum 3 years experience in Early Childhood Education * Minimum 3 years experience in Early Childhood Education, birth to middle childhood * Experience teaching at the college level preferred * Bilingual Required * A willingness to make students active partners in the teaching and/or learning process * Demonstrates commitment to diversity and multicultural perspectives, including anti\-bias curriculum * Knowledge of teaching and instruction of various audiences and group dynamics * Familiarity with and ability to operate or oversee the operation of audio\-visual equipment within Adobe Connect * Experience with student\-centered teaching methods * Experience with evidence\-based teaching methods which engage students through active learning * Experience contributing to a diverse, equitable, and inclusive classroom and work environment * Ability to orally communicate effectively with others, using the English language, with or without the use of an interpreter * Keeps abreast of developments in the field by reading current literature, speaking with colleagues, and participating in professional workshops, webinars, or conferences * Initiates, facilitates, and moderates classroom discussions * Advanced communication (verbal, written, and interpersonal) and organizational skills * Logic and reasoning skills to identify solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems **Pay/Salary** Please Email Resume and Cover Letter to operations@theoriatechnical.com Job Type: Contract Pay: $28\.00 \- $34\.60 per hour Education: * Master's (Preferred) Experience: * Early Childhood Teaching: 3 years (Required) * Higher Education Teaching: 1 year (Required) Work Location: Remote
