**Location:** Remote (Canada) **Job Type:** Contract (Independent Contractor) **Compensation:** The estimated annual earnings range displayed on this posting reflects typical first\-year earnings based on performance. This is a **100% commission\-based independent contractor opportunity**. There is **no guaranteed salary or hourly wage**. We work alongside manufacturers to help reduce project risk, improve efficiency, and deliver better technical outcomes. **About the Opportunity** We're looking for a motivated, self\-directed individual to help introduce SGI Consulting to manufacturers across Canada. Your primary responsibility is identifying prospective clients, initiating conversations with decision\-makers, and scheduling qualified discovery meetings for our consulting team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys speaking with people, building professional relationships, and creating new business opportunities. No engineering background is required. We'll provide training on our services, target industries, and sales process. **Responsibilities** * Research manufacturers and industrial organizations throughout Canada. * Conduct professional outbound prospecting by phone, email, and LinkedIn. * Identify qualified opportunities and schedule discovery meetings. * Build relationships with engineering, maintenance, operations, and executive leaders. * Maintain accurate CRM records and prospect activity. * Participate in ongoing product and business development training. **Qualifications** We're looking for someone who is: * Self\-motivated and dependable * Comfortable initiating conversations with business professionals * Organized and disciplined with follow\-up * Curious and eager to learn * Coachable and receptive to feedback * A strong communicator, both verbally and in writing Previous experience in business development, B2B sales, recruiting, customer service, manufacturing, engineering services, or industrial markets is an asset but not required. **Training \& Support** You'll receive structured onboarding and ongoing coaching covering: * SGI Consulting's services * Manufacturing and industrial markets * Consultative business development * Prospecting techniques * CRM best practices * Professional communication strategies **Why Join SGI Consulting?** We're building a team focused on helping Canadian manufacturers solve meaningful engineering and operational challenges.
