You’ll design and execute test strategies, drive AI-powered test automation, and ensure our cloud fax, IDP, eSign, and API products meet the highest standards of reliability and compliance.This role sits at the intersection of traditional QA rigor and modern AI tooling. You’ll use AI to accelerate test generation, uncover edge cases, and improve coverage across a regulated healthcare environment.What You’ll DoDesign, write, and maintain test plans, test cases, and regression suites for Documo’s product suite (cloud fax, IDP, eSign, API integrations)Leverage AI-powered tools (e.g. Claude Code, Playwright, etc.) to accelerate test generation, identify coverage gaps, and reduce manual effortUse large language models to assist with edge case discovery, test data synthesis, and exploratory testing scenariosExecute manual, automated, and exploratory testing across web, API, and backend systemsPartner with Development and Product to review requirements, identify quality risks early, review & improve merge requests for test completeness and accuracy, and shift testing left in the SDLCBuild and maintain CI/CD-integrated test automation pipelines using tools like Selenium, Playwright, or CypressValidate HIPAA compliance requirements and data security standards throughout the testing lifecycleTrack, document, and triage defects in Jira; communicate clearly on severity and impactAnalyze test results and use AI-assisted analytics to identify patterns, flaky tests, and systemic issuesContinuously evaluate and adopt new AI-powered QA tooling to improve efficiency and coverageContribute to a quality culture by mentoring teammates and advocating for testability in design What’s In It For YouA seat at the table in quality strategy and product direction from day oneAccess to cutting-edge AI tools and the freedom to experiment with what worksThe chance to work at the intersection of AI, healthcare, and document automationCompetitive pay, benefits, and a clear path for growthAbout You3+ years of experience in software QA, with at least 1 year using AI-assisted testing tools or workflowsHands-on experience with test automation frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or equivalentComfortable using AI tools (Claude Code, ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, or similar) to generate tests, synthetic data, or triage defectsStrong understanding of API testing (REST/SOAP) using tools like Postman or similarFamiliar with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or equivalent) and integrating automated tests into build workflowsExperience working in Agile/Scrum teams with Jira or similar project tracking toolsProficiency with test management systems within Jira (e.g., Xray, Zephyr) or standalone tools such as TestRail or similar platformsDetail-oriented with strong written and verbal communication skills—you can clearly explain what’s broken and why it mattersSelf-starter who thrives in a fully remote environment with a high degree of ownership and accountabilityTechnically curious and coachable—you stay current on QA best practices and emerging AI toolingSolid understanding of application data flows & SQL databases; familiarity with Kafka and Redis is considered a strong advantageNice to HavesExperience testing in healthcare, finance, or other HIPAA/SOC 2-regulated environmentsBackground in document management, cloud fax, health IT, or API-heavy SaaS productsFamiliarity with AI/ML model validation or prompt-based QA methodologiesISTQB certification or formal QA training programsExperience with performance or load testing tools Why join Documo?Competitive U.S. benefits: medical, dental, vision, and a 401(k) with a strong match.Annual bonus program based on role and company performance.
