This is a remote position.About the roleThe Loan Administrator supports the brokerage by ensuring loan applications are accurately prepared, documented, and submitted to lenders. This role is responsible for the operational integrity of each file and ensuring applications meet internal standards before submission. The Loan Administrator is a back-office role focused on accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.Job ResponsibilitiesApplication Preparation● Create and maintain client files within BrokerEngine and MyCRM● Ensure all supporting documents are collected and verified● Prepare loan applications in lender portals● Cross-check information against supporting documents● Ensure compliance documentation is completeDocument Management● Upload and maintain documents in the Google Drive shared system● Maintain organised file structure● Ensure correct naming conventions are followed● Send client documents through DocuSign when requiredSubmission & Tracking● Submit loan applications to lenders● Record lender reference numbers● Track application progress● Maintain accurate notes in CRM● Update file stage within the pipelineLender Communication● Follow up lenders for status updates● Track outstanding conditions● Document lender conversations in CRM notesInternal Coordination​● Work closely with the Loan Partner and Broker● Escalate potential issues early● Maintain clear internal notes for all team members RequirementsQualificationsAt least 3 years experience in Australian mortgage broking or loan processing (broker side)Strong understanding of loan lodgement, supporting documents, lender portals, and follow‑upsExcellent attention to detail and accuracy in data handlingStrong communication skills for liaising with brokers, clients, and lendersAbility to work independently with minimal supervision and manage turnaround timesExperience using mortgage CRM tools Originally posted on Himalayas
