This role owns day-to-day execution, optimization, and performance management across social platforms, ensuring campaigns align to approved media plans, enterprise standards, and evolving channel best practices.Channel Managers operate as hands-on execution leaders and trusted client partners, translating strategy into precise social activation. They work under the guidance of the Channel Director – Social and support the development of Social Coordinators.What You’ll DoSocial Execution & Performance OwnershipExecute and optimize paid social campaigns across platforms and formatsOwn in-platform setup, including audiences, bidding, pacing, creative rotation, and measurement alignmentMonitor performance and adjust investment based on efficiency and effectiveness goalsEnsure activation adheres to enterprise standards, brand safety, and data quality requirementsSupport adoption of new features, formats, and automation workflowsLead complex and HVC paid social campaigns, acting as the paid social extension for client teamsClient & Strategy PartnershipPartner with Client Strategy to ensure social activation mirrors approved plansTranslate performance data and creative insights into optimization recommendationsParticipate in client conversations as an execution authoritySurface risks, opportunities, and platform changes proactivelyLead client paid social conversations, serving as the primary subject matter expert and strategic authority on social platforms, activation, and performanceChannel Collaboration & Capability BuildingSupport Social Channel Managers and Coordinators through task guidance and QAContribute to documentation, testing efforts, and evolving activation standardsCollaborate with Analytics to support learning and optimizationResponsible for mentoring and supporting assigned channel managers and coordinators in their channel growthChampion knowledge sharing across the paid social team, proactively distributing platform updates, best practices, test learnings, and performance insights to drive collective expertise and consistencyQualificationsBachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, business administration, or a related field is preferred5+ years of experience in paid social or performance media activationHands-on experience across major social platformsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExperience presenting performance insights and creative learnings to clientsAbility to mentor and support junior team membersCheck us out at www.goodwaygroup.com to learn more!If you identify as a female candidate, and feel you can do this role even if there are a few things perhaps you've not done, please apply anyway!
