This approach has led to First Intuition being awarded an ‘Outstanding’ rating by Ofsted.About the roleWe are recruiting a Publishing and Marking Coordinator to join the Educational Resources team. This role involves working across marking and publishing, making it a varied and interesting role. The successful candidate will help coordinate a team of internal and external markers and marking administration for year-round ICAEW, ACCA and CIMA exams. You will also work closely with authors and subject managers to create learning materials, and the LMS team to build courses on our learning management system.The position offers great long-term prospects for the right candidate. This can be explored during the interview process.Salary: £28,000 to £33,000 depending on experience.Hours: Full time Monday-Friday, 37.5 hours per week. Part time hours will be considered for the right candidate.Probation: 3 months.Leave: 25 days annual leave rising to 30 over five years’ service, plus bank holidays.Travel: Requirement to attend an FI office roughly six times a year for events, training, collaborative work and meetings. Travel expenses paid.Duties and responsibilitiesAs a Publishing and Marking Coordinator at First Intuition, your duties and responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following.MarkingTaking ownership of certain areas of our marking function to ensure we have timely, well-marked scripts. This includes booking markers, providing training support to new markers, regularly setting up exam groups, managing marking schedules and liaising with operations and client teams.Keeping freelancer contractual information and contact details up to date.Covering the Helpdesk and adhering to a response time SLA.Ensuring marking policies are adhered to across the organisation.Having joint responsibility, together with the rest of the Marking team, for looking after the Marking inbox. This includes actioning and responding to emails.PublishingTaking ownership of the production of printed and online learning materials and building online courses using a learning management system.Acting as production coordinator during content updates, supporting authors and recorders and ensuring production deadlines are met.Carrying out quality assurance on materials and courses to ensure they are delivered to brief and are consistent.Coordinating the work of authors, recorders and our external typesetting company to process products.Collaborate with the LMS team during update cycles and when agreeing new processes.Support the creation and implementation of production guidance.Support innovation and the development of new processes.Process updates and build courses in our online system, Totara.Working with printers to ensure that the correct products are available for print in the correct timeframes.Organisational responsibilitiesSupport the development and implementation of organisational strategy.Provide vital administration and logistical support to project work, both within and beyond the Educational Resources team.General responsibilitiesUphold all aspects of company policies and procedures and legal requirements in relation to personal conduct.Prepare for and engage in one-to-one meetings and appraisals.Proactively maintain professional and personal development plans.Be willing and committed to take on new work as and when required.Be aware of
