POSITION:The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for selling our Software, Hardware and Services, and reports to the National Sales Manager. It will be the Account Manager’s role to ensure that all agreed sales targets are met, or exceeded, in their allocated region. For this vacancy the region is ScotlandThe Regional Sales Manager will generate business through direct selling to new business prospects and upselling to current customers. Prospecting, conducting sales campaigns and networking with contacts in the industry will all assist in delivering the annual net rev sales target.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:Account management of and upselling to a group of Key Accounts in a target regionProviding excellent customer service to clients over the phone and in personDevelop and maintain a sales pipeline of sufficient size to achieve agreed sales targets, through lead acquisition both directly and alongside the marketing function. Record and manage all opportunities in SalesForceMaintain an in-depth knowledge of the Company’s product portfolio and awareness of competitor productsMaintaining an awareness of industry trends, particularly within the University and Further Education sectorSupport in the acquisition of new logo Further Education business from the competitionEstablish and maintain strategic relationships, alliances, and networks within the industry as well as with other key stakeholders to generate sales leadsAttend industry events as required from time to timeAssist Finance with Billing and Invoice queries.JOB QUALIFICATIONS:Proven experience selling software solutions within the leisure industry is desirableProven record in selling business application softwareRelevant professional sales training and experienceStrong negotiation skills and ability to close salesExcellent written, verbal and presentation communications skillsThe ability to build and foster business relationshipsGood understanding of technology and how it is applied in businessA moderate degree of computer literacy and technical competencyDemonstrable evidence of organizing customer accounts and projection implementation.PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS:High degree of self-motivationEnergy and enthusiasmHonesty and integrityStrong customer service mindsetGoal orientationProfessionalism and persistence with ability to overcome obstacles and setbacks.Salary will be commensurate with experience and job responsibilities.
