Clinicians are expected to exercise sound clinical judgment, maintain accurate documentation, and practice in accordance with all licensing board requirements, ethical standards, and company policies.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESClinical CareProvide remote counseling services to children, adolescents, adults, couples, families, and groupsConduct clinical assessments, establish diagnoses when appropriate, and develop individualized treatment plansDeliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions while integrating Christian faith when clinically appropriate and desired by the clientMonitor client progress and modify treatment plans as neededRefer clients to appropriate community resources or specialty providers when necessaryRespond appropriately to crisis situations following clinical and organizational protocolsDocumentation & ComplianceMaintain accurate, timely, and complete clinical documentation within the Electronic Health Record (EHR)Ensure compliance with HIPAA, state licensing regulations, payer requirements, and company policiesComplete treatment plans, progress notes, and other required documentation within established timeframesMaintain current licensure, CAQH profile, professional liability insurance, and all required credentialing documentationCollaboration & Professional DevelopmentCollaborate with clinical leadership, administrative staff, and fellow clinicians to support continuity of careParticipate in meetings, trainings, consultation, and continuing education opportunitiesProvide clinical supervision or mentorship to interns or residents when qualifiedSupport outreach initiatives that further Light Counseling's mission and community impactAdditional ResponsibilitiesUtilize telehealth technology and clinical systems effectivelyMaintain a professional virtual environment that supports quality client carePerform other duties as assigned to support clinical operationsKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIESStrong knowledge of counseling theory, assessment, diagnosis, and evidence-based treatment modalitiesAbility to provide therapy for a variety of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and other behavioral health needsAbility to integrate Christian faith with ethical, evidence-based counseling practicesExcellent clinical judgment, critical thinking, and problem-solving skillsStrong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skillsAbility to establish therapeutic rapport with clients from diverse backgroundsProficiency with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems and telehealth platformsStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage documentation and caseload responsibilities independentlyAbility to work autonomously while collaborating effectively within a remote clinical teamCommitment to confidentiality, ethical practice, and professional excellenceMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSMaster's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related behavioral health field from an accredited institutionActive, unrestricted independent clinical license (such as LPC, LMFT, LCSW, LCPC, LMHC, LPCC, or equivalent) in at least one U.S. stateEligible to provide telehealth services in accordance with applicable state laws and regulationsActive CAQH profileProfessional Liability InsuranceStrong commitment to the Christian faith and active involvement in a local churchAbility to pass required background and reference checksNo restrictions that would prevent credentialing with co
