Job Description
The Vice President of Pharmacy Benefit Consulting- Employer Middle Market is part of the PSG leadership team and reports directly to the Senior Vice President of Employer Pharmacy Benefit Consulting partnering to drive client satisfaction, portfolio growth and profitability through innovative product service development, team leadership and client service excellence including strategic client consulting.Responsibilities:Supported by the PSG President and SVP and working with EPIC leaders the VP Pharmacy - Middle Market will lead a team and be responsible for:Client/Broker satisfaction and NPSClient portfolio growth and retentionSource, lead and develop a team of clinicians, consultants, and other personnelLead and participate in EPIC/PSG leadership meetingsBusiness strategy; both clinical and non-clinicalStewardship and operating discipline to optimize value/affordability and profitabilityPharmacy Benefit Manager and other pharmacy service provider relationship management including procurement, contracting and implementationOverall program operations include:Access Marketplace and individual client audit delivery (Audits conducted by Audit team)Access Marketplace and individual client market check delivery (conducted by Pricing team)Access Marketplace and individual client reporting (through Artemetrx and team)Access Marketplace and individual client vendor (PBM or other) managementProduct development and maintenanceSales and Marketing support for segmentStrategic Client consultingSupport, along with other clinical leaders, overall EPIC/PSG clinical strategySupport growth and continued development of Artemetrx tool by providing client and team insightsQualifications (Minimum Requirements)Extensive knowledge of PBM and specialty pharmacy environment (5 years minimum experience).Strong verbal and written communication skills including presentation skills and client relationship managementAbility to develop strategies and implement programs that benefit EPIC/PSG and clientsStrong experience with Broker, TPA and Captive marketsStrong clinical and financial analysis skillsStrong use of various business applications including: MS Office products, Teams, Zoom, etc.Travel required, as neededPharmacy background with bachelor’s degree; MBA and/or PharmD/RPh strongly preferredBusiness development experience preferredLocation: RemoteCOMPENSATION: The national average salary for this role is $210,000.00 in base pay and exclusive of any bonuses or benefits. The base pay offered will be determined based on your experience, skills, training, certifications and education, while also considering internal equity and market data.
