If you thrive in a fast\-paced environment and are passionate about finance and tax compliance, this position is your gateway to a rewarding career in tax preparation. **Duties** * Attend and successfully complete an eight\-week tax law and tax software training program. * Prepare accurate federal and state tax returns using professional tax software. * Review W\-2s, 1099s, income statements, and other supporting documents to identify income, deductions, and credits. * Collect necessary information and documentation from clients. * Explain tax\-related information clearly and answer client questions professionally. * Review completed tax returns for accuracy and compliance before submission. * Stay informed about changes to federal and state tax laws. * Maintain confidentiality and securely handle clients’ personal and financial information. * Provide excellent customer service and help build lasting client relationships. **Requirements** * No previous tax preparation experience required; training will be provided. * Must attend and successfully complete the eight\-week tax law and tax software training program. * Must have or be willing to obtain a valid IRS Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN). Assistance will be provided. * Basic computer, typing, data\-entry, and math skills. * Strong attention to detail and ability to follow tax laws and company procedures. * Excellent communication and customer service skills. * Ability to handle confidential personal and financial information responsibly. * Must be dependable, professional, organized, and willing to learn. * Experience in tax preparation, accounting, bookkeeping, finance, or customer service is a plus but not required.
