The developer will be collaborating closely with the existing team to build innovative features and successfully execute tasks. The company is creating a platform that helps users build a unified data model, which makes it easy to connect data from several separate sources. This will be a full-time position requiring significant overlap with the PST time zone and can lead to long-term opportunities.Job Responsibilities:Implement various parts of the back-end platform designed by the existing teamEnsure consistency in logging and error handling, as well as engineering excellence tasks like implementing unit tests and test mocksImplement certain back-end APIs in Go, and make sure they link to the front-end and function appropriatelyEnsure the functionality, effectiveness, and responsiveness of applicationsJob Requirements:Bachelors/Masters degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)At least 5+ years of relevant experience as a software developerDemonstrable experience working with Go/Golang, SQL, and ProtobufSolid understanding of Go application developmentExtensive experience with Go unit testing and mock frameworkIn-depth AWS knowledge and extensive AWS Go library experienceProlific Git and Postman usage experienceFamiliarity with databases - SQL and database optimization techniquesNice to have some front-end web development experienceFamiliarity with TypeScript and JavaScript is desirableExcellent spoken and written English communication skillsOriginally posted on Himalayas
