We help design the future of work.HIKE2 is looking for a skilled Flowable Engineer to design, develop, and maintain workflow automation and business process management (BPM) solutions using the Flowable platform. This role will work closely with business stakeholders, architects, and development teams to streamline processes, integrate enterprise systems, and deliver scalable workflow-driven applications.The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with Flowable BPM, Java-based application development, REST APIs, and enterprise integration patterns.What You’ll DoDesign and implement business workflows using the Flowable BPMN engineDevelop and maintain BPMN, DMN, and CMMN process modelsBuild custom workflow applications and services using Java/Spring BootIntegrate Flowable with enterprise systems, APIs, databases, and third-party platformsConfigure task management, approval flows, notifications, and escalation logicCollaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to translate business requirements into workflow solutionsTroubleshoot workflow execution issues and optimize process performanceDevelop automated tests and support CI/CD deployment pipelinesMaintain workflow documentation and technical specificationsParticipate in architecture reviews and recommend BPM best practicesRequirementsRequired Skills:3+ years of software engineering experienceHands-on experience with Flowable BPMStrong knowledge of:BPMN 2.0DMNWorkflow orchestrationProcess automation conceptsExperience with:JavaSpring BootREST APIsSQL databasesFamiliarity with containerized deployments (Docker/Kubernetes)Experience integrating enterprise systems and APIsStrong problem-solving and communication skillsPreferred Skills:Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)Knowledge of microservices architectureExperience with event-driven systems or messaging platforms (Kafka, RabbitMQ)Familiarity with identity and access management (OAuth2, SSO, LDAP)Previous experience with Camunda, Activiti, or other BPM platformsAgile/Scrum experienceReact or Angular frontend experienceDevOps and CI/CD pipeline knowledgeWorkflow analytics and monitoringLow-code/no-code automation experienceThe salary range for this position is: $135,000-$185,000k per year. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws. This range is exclusive of any bonuses or commissions.
