**Part\-Time (15 Hours/Week to Start)**
**$30/Hour \| Temporary, Indefinite Assignment**
Trustpoint.One is partnering with a boutique California workers' compensation law firm to identify an experienced **Legal Assistant / QME Calendar Clerk** to support the firm's Founding Partner.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone seeking a flexible, fully remote position with the potential for additional hours and responsibilities as the practice continues to grow.
**What You'll Do:**
* Coordinate all aspects of the QME process
* Gather, organize, and index medical records
* Maintain detailed medical record spreadsheets
* Schedule depositions and prepare notices
* Track deadlines and manage QME timelines
* Assemble and prepare medical evaluation packages
* Communicate with attorneys, medical providers, and other parties to keep matters moving efficiently
**Qualifications:**
* Prior California Workers' Compensation experience required
* Hands\-on experience with **Merus** (required)
* Experience supporting QME matters or medical\-legal processes strongly preferred
* Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
* Strong follow\-up skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
* Self\-starter who works well independently in a remote environment
**Position Details:**
* Fully remote (must reside in California)
* Approximately **15 hours per week** to start (during normal business hours)
* Flexible schedule

**Key Details**
* *Physical Requirements:*Must be able to perform essential duties satisfactorily with reasonable accommodations

* This is a high\-volume screen\-based role, requiring constant, prolonged computer usage, including but not limited to: reviewing documents, managing visual content, and attending virtual meetings
* Visual acuity required for computer use, data analysis, and extended reading
* Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
* Frequent use of hands and fingers for typing and document handling
