Position Overview:Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Amazon PPC Manager to lead client advertising campaigns and manage our growing PPC team. As a boutique agency, they pride themselves on delivering hands-on, strategic support to their clients. This role combines team leadership with direct client management, requiring someone who can both mentor junior team members and maintain strong client relationships while driving measurable results across diverse product categories.
Key Responsibilities:Strategy & Campaign Management:Develop and execute comprehensive Amazon PPC strategies for multiple client accounts across Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, Sponsored Display, and DSP campaignsManage client advertising budgets ranging from $20K to $200K+ monthly while maintaining target ACoS, TACoS, and ROAS goalsConduct keyword research, competitor analysis, and market opportunity assessments for diverse product categoriesOptimize campaign structure, bidding strategies, and budget allocation across client portfoliosImplement advanced PPC tactics including dayparting, placement optimization, and audience targetingStay ahead of Amazon platform updates and test new advertising features for client benefitTeam Leadership:Lead and mentor a small team of PPC specialists (2-4 team members)Establish efficient workflows and SOPs for campaign management and client reportingProvide hands-on training and quality assurance for junior team membersDelegate client accounts and campaigns based on team capacity and skill levelFoster a collaborative, learning-focused team culture in our boutique environmentClient Management:Serve as primary point of contact for key client accountsLead client strategy calls and quarterly business reviewsTranslate client goals into actionable PPC strategiesCommunicate performance updates, insights, and recommendations clearly and proactivelyManage client expectations and provide consultative guidance on Amazon advertising best practicesIdentify upsell opportunities and contribute to client retention effortsAnalytics & Reporting:Build and maintain customized reporting dashboards for client accountsDeliver monthly performance reports with strategic insights and action itemsConduct regular audits of client accounts to identify optimization opportunitiesPerform A/B testing on ad copy, creative assets, and bidding strategiesTrack competitor activity and market trends across client categoriesRequired QualificationsMinimum 4 years of hands-on Amazon PPC management experience, preferably in an agency settingProven experience managing multiple client accounts simultaneouslyTrack record managing combined monthly ad budgets of $100K+ with demonstrable ROI improvements1-2+ years of team leadership or mentorship experienceStrong client-facing communication skills and ability to build trusted relationshipsDeep expertise with Amazon Seller Central, Vendor Central, and Amazon Advertising ConsoleProficiency with PPC analytics and reporting tools (Helium 10, Jungle Scout, Pacvue, or similar)Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills for data analysis and custom reportingSelf-starter mentality with ability to manage priorities independently in a fast-paced environmentStrong (C-level) written and verbal English communications skillsAbility to work full-time EST alignedPreferred Qualifications:Experience working in a digital marketing or Amazon-focused agencyExposure to Amazon DSP and Amazon AttributionFamiliarity with third-party PPC management platforms (Perpetua, Teikametrics, Skai, etc.)Knowledge of Amazon SEO and organic ranking factorsExperience across diverse product categories (consumables, electronics, home goods, etc.)Understanding of full-funnel marketing strategiesCertification in Amazon AdvertisingExperience with client onboarding and new business pitchesKey Competencies:Client-Focused: Natural relationship builder who can communicate complex strategies in accessible waysAnalytical Mindset: Ability to interpret data across multiple client accounts and translate insights into winning strategiesLeadership: Collaborative management style that develops team members while maintaining quality standardsAdaptability: Thrives in a dynamic boutique environment where priorities shift and you may wear multiple hatsStrategic Thinking: Can balance short-term performance goals with long-term client growthAttention to Detail: Meticulous approach to campaign setup, monitoring, and client reportingProactive Communication: Anticipates client needs and issues before they ariseResults-Oriented: Consistently meets or exceeds KPIs and drives continuous improvement across client portfolioPerformance Metrics:Success in this role will be measured by:Client ad sales growth and revenue targetsPortfolio-wide ACoS/TACoS efficiency and ROAS goalsClient retention and satisfaction scoresTeam productivity and developmentOn-time delivery of client reports and strategic recommendationsSuccessful onboarding of new client accounts
