Our mission is simple: give business owners peace of mind knowing Affinity CPA has them covered on the financial side, so they can focus on what they do best. **THE ROLE** We're looking for a detail\-oriented, dependable entry\-level bookkeeper to join our team on a part\-time basis, with real opportunity to grow into a full\-time role as our client base grows. This is a great fit for someone early in their accounting career who wants hands\-on experience across a variety of small business clients, direct mentorship from an experienced CPA, and a supportive, relaxed team culture. **CORE RESPONSIBILITIES** * Categorize transactions accurately and consistently across a variety of client industries. * Reconcile bank and credit card accounts on a monthly basis. * Maintain organized, well\-documented client files that hold up to review. * Process accounts payable and accounts receivable, including entering bills, preparing payments, and applying customer payments. * Communicate directly and professionally with clients to gather missing documentation or clarify transactions. * Identify discrepancies in client books and help research and resolve them. * Assist with bookkeeping cleanup projects and the onboarding of new clients. * Learn and help apply the firm's accounting technology stack and embrace tech advances that improve efficiency and accuracy. **WHAT YOU BRING** * 0–2 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience. * Familiarity with QuickBooks Online preferred; willingness and ability to become proficient required. * Strong attention to detail and a genuine comfort working with numbers. * Reliable and organized, with the ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines at once. * A clear, friendly communicator who takes ownership of their work. * Bookeeping Certificate of Associate's degree in accounting preferred, but equivalent experience considered. * A genuine interest in building a long\-term career in accounting. **WHAT WE OFFER** * Direct mentorship from a CPA with experience at both a Big Four firm and local Colorado practices. * A flexible part\-time schedule, with a clear path to full\-time. * Exposure to a range of small business clients and industries. * A collaborative, high\-trust team culture built on integrity and care. * Room to grow as the firm grows. **HOW TO APP
