**Job Overview**
We are seeking a dynamic and detail\-oriented Corporate Payroll Manager to lead our payroll operations and ensure accurate, timely compensation processing across the organization. In this role, you will oversee payroll administration, maintain compliance with applicable laws and regulations, and collaborate closely with finance, HR, and accounting teams. Your expertise will help streamline payroll workflows, enhance data accuracy, and support our commitment to employee satisfaction. **Responsibilities**
* Manage end\-to\-end payroll processing using various payroll software such as Workday, Paychex, ADP, Kronos, UltiPro, PeopleSoft, Ceridian, and other relevant systems.
* Ensure accurate data entry for employee hours, benefits administration, tax information, and deductions within payroll systems.
* Reconcile payroll accounts through detailed analysis of general ledger accounts and perform account reconciliation to verify data integrity.
* Oversee compliance with federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations; prepare and file necessary reports accurately and on time.
* Collaborate with HR to process new hires, terminations, salary adjustments, and benefit changes while maintaining detailed records.
* Maintain knowledge of non\-profit accounting practices if applicable; manage accounts payable/receivable related to payroll expenses.
* Generate reports for management regarding payroll costs, tax liabilities, benefits administration, and other financial metrics.
* Support audits by providing documentation related to payroll transactions; ensure adherence to internal controls and audit requirements.
* Assist in the implementation of new payroll software or updates; provide training and support to team members on payroll procedures.
**Qualifications**
* Proven experience managing payroll functions using systems such as Workday, Paychex, ADP, Kronos or UltiPro; familiarity with multiple platforms is preferred.
* Strong understanding of payroll management principles combined with knowledge of accounting software like QuickBooks or similar tools.
* Solid grasp of financial concepts including journal entries, debits \& credits, general ledger reconciliation, double entry bookkeeping, and technical accounting practices.
* Experience working with human resources information systems (HRIS) such as PeopleSoft or Ceridian is highly desirable.
* Excellent analysis skills with the ability to perform detailed account reconciliation and data entry accurately under tight deadlines.
* Knowledge of benefits administration processes along with governmental accounting standards if applicable.
* Ability to interpret complex tax regulations related to payroll taxation; experience with tax reporting is a plus.
* Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in bookkeeping tasks
