Sustainability Engineer

To work under the renewable division of an EPC company where this position will chart net-zero roadmap with energy transition and decarbonization solutions for clients. This role will be responsible for help Company's clients profile their GHG emissions, set science -based emissions target, design net-zero roadmap and climate actions, and develop carbon projects.Responsibilities:Managing projects relating carbon accounting, target, settings, net zero roadmapping and environmental attribute project developmentProject manage resources, schedules, sub-contractors, budgets and risksPreparation and submission of proposals for new projectsWork collaboratively as part of a team and share knowledge with colleguesRequirements:Degree in Environmental Science or Environmental EngineeringMin. 3 years experience in executive sustainability and carbon development projectsFamiliar with sustainability/ESG reporting framework and standardsKnowledge in emerging sustainability and carbon market trends / standards/ policiesKnowledge in carbon accounting and GHG ProtocolKnowledge in lifecycle assessmentKnowledge in Science Based Target SettingsKnowledge of climate-related risks, opportunities, and resiliency assessmentKnowledge of nature based solutionsKnowledge in carbon credit project developmentKnowledge in Energy SectorGood interpersonal skillsConfidence to engage with different external clients, agencies and partnersAttention to detail with good presentation, analytical and writing skillsOriginally posted on Himalayas
