Job Description
The Quality and Compliance Officer provides a shared service across all of the Business Units within the University Partnerships Australasia division, and is responsible for delivering high-quality governance, compliance and policy services. The role has authority to provide advice within the published policy parameters for the respective Business Unit. Key Result Areas:Governance & DataProvision of executive officer services to the academic and non-academic governance committees, including minute writing, collation of agendas under direction from the respective Quality & Compliance Manager, meeting logistics, coordinating membership records.Population of template reports with student performance dataContribution to continuous improvement activities to enhance ability to collect and present performance data in the most effective mannerComplianceContribution to registration/ accreditation submissions, under broad direction from the responsible Quality & Compliance Manager, including gathering information and prepopulating templates in preparation for SMEs to refine and finalise, collecting and organising materials from college/campus SMEs, coordinating the project tracker and following up deadlinesContribution to maintaining master registration and accreditation schedule across the division to support appropriate sequencing and planning for upcoming processesPolicyMaintain the policy review schedule for the Colleges/Campuses, ensuring that local policy owners are supported to review/ update in a timely manner for governance approvalsEnsure all current policies and procedures are easily available to staff and students through maintenance of the relevant on-line librariesCoordinate periodic communications to College/Campus Staff regarding updates to local policiesAny other services, as directed by the Quality & Compliance Coordinator.Essential:Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field or demonstrated previous experience working successfully in a similar positionDemonstrated high level interpersonal, oral and written communication skills, including experience in liaising with senior staff internal and external to the organisationDemonstrated high level of ability to write detailed documentation to meet the needs of legislative authorities as well as experience in drafting policy and procedure documentationAdvanced IT skills including proficiency with administrative information systems and the Microsoft Office suiteDemonstrated organisational ability and initiative, including prioritising to meet deadlines, often with competing demands in a complex team environmentAbility to work independently and collaboratively as appropriate to the taskDesirable:Knowledge of regulatory framework across VET and the higher education sectorsWhat we can offer We offer careers across our global operations.We recognise and reward.We understand the importance of showing appreciation.We care for you.
