By joining our team, youll be at the forefront of helping clients with innovative energy solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelops and manages budget, schedule, and quality requirements across multiple disciplines for assigned projectsActively manages project changes directly with the Client in coordination with the Project ManagerReviews lower-level engineering work or assignments; may serve as the engineer of record for assigned projectsBuilds strong working relationships with project leadership, design teams, and support staffCommunicates client interests and drivers to project team members and develops approaches to accommodate these concernsProvides support to business development and pursuit activitiesOccasional travel to support site visits, design reviews, and client meetingsConsistently and independently applies knowledge while complying with company quality programsEnsures client and industry standards are maintained on assigned projectsProvides guidance, mentorship, and direction to team membersPreferred QualificationsExperience managing Engineering, Procurement, Construction (EPC) or design services overhead transmission line projects for investor-owned utilities in the United StatesEight years of experience in high-voltage overhead transmission line design with strong understanding of PLS-CADD, line routing, structural loading design, foundation design, and overall project lifecycleExcellent communication skills and an interest in engaging with clients to grow relationshipsAdvanced knowledge of engineering design principles and applicable design guides and standardsWorking knowledge of interdisciplinary project coordination: procurement, subcontract administration, permitting, real estate and land acquisition, and construction supportFamiliarity with proposal processes and developing engineering estimatesP.E. License highly preferredMinimum QualificationsBachelors degree in engineering from an accredited program (domestically or internationally)Minimum of 8 years related work experienceAbility to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements, which may include background checks, drug screening, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with applicable laws and regulationsCertifications
