The position requires a strong field presence, technical competence, and the ability to engage with supervisors, contractors, and project teams to drive safe and environmentally responsible operations.Responsibilities:Field HSE Program ExecutionSupport implementation of site-specific HSE plans, including:Site Safety Management Plans (SSMPs)Job Safety Analyses (JSAs)Emergency Response PlansEnvironmental Protection PlansEnsure consistent application of HSE requirements across all phases:Pre-mobilization and PlanningMobilizationConstruction / commissioningDemobilizationSite Safety Oversight & Risk ManagementConduct routine field inspections, audits, and risk assessments to ensure safe work practices.Support high-risk operations including:Hazardous Material and Waste ManagementLifting and riggingElectrical work and commissioningConfined space entryLockout/Tagout (LOTO)Provide on-site HSE support during:Client auditsRegulatory inspectionsCritical project activitiesEnvironmental Compliance (Field Operations)Support implementation of environmental controls at project sites, including:Spill prevention and responseWaste management and handlingProtection of surrounding environment during constructionEnsure compliance with applicable environmental regulations and project-specific requirements.Assist with environmental documentation and reporting requirements associated with field activities, aligned with broader regulatory programs (e.g., waste management and reporting practices).Incident Investigation & ReportingParticipate in incident investigations, including:Data collection and fact findingRoot cause analysisDevelopment of corrective and preventive actionsSupport tracking and closure of corrective actions.Maintain accurate records and reporting of incidents and observations.Training, Communication & CultureDeliver and support:HSE CampaignsSite orientationsToolbox talks and safety meetingsTask-specific training for employees and contractorsPromote key HSE behaviors and programs such as:Stop Work AuthorityBehavioral-based safety, risk tolerance, hazard recognition, and stop-work authorityReinforce HSE expectations with field supervisors and workforce.Coordination & Stakeholder SupportAct as a liaison between:Site supervisors and project teamsHSE Manager and corporate HSE functionsClients and contractorsSupport preparation of HSE documentation required by clients and project specifications.Continuous ImprovementIdentify opportunities to improve HSE performance, efficiency, and compliance.Support initiatives to enhance safety culture and reduce incidents.Contribute to lessons learned and sharing of best practices across projects.Requirements:Education & CertificationsAssociate or Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field preferredPreferred certifications:CHST (Construction Health & Safety Technician)ASP or equivalentOSHA 500 (OSHA Outreach Instructor)ExperienceMinimum 3–7 years of HSE experience in:Construction, commissioning, heavy-industrial
