We advocate at the federal, state, and local levels to establish and implement ambitious offshore wind commitments and to ensure stringent wildlife protections, strong labor standards, community benefits, and stakeholder engagement are in place every step of the way.The Northeast Campaign Manager, Offshore Wind Energy joins a robust team and will lead significant portions of offshore wind advocacy in the Northeast region (New England, New York, New Jersey), working with regional and state-specific coalitions. In this role, you will collaborate with others on the Offshore Wind Energy team on campaign strategy and planning, implement priority campaign activities, and cultivate new and existing partnerships. This position reports to the Senior Campaign Manager, Offshore Wind Energy.Your major areas of responsibility:Lead and manage portions of state and regional Offshore Wind Energy campaigns across New England, New York, and New Jersey, in close coordination with the Offshore Wind Energy team and regional colleagues:Co-develop campaign plans (goals, theory of change, target decision-makers, stakeholder mapping, tactics, timelines, and roles) for priority state and regional efforts.Drive execution of integrated campaign tactics (communications, digital, and field/organizing) in partnership with communications staff and other internal teams.Track campaign progress using measurable goals, milestones, and deliverables; synthesize results, lessons learned, and recommendations for adjustments.Build, maintain, and deepen relationships with coalition partners and stakeholders (including environmental justice, labor, community, and industry-aligned groups as appropriate) to advance shared objectives.Represent NWF in coalition meetings, stakeholder convenings, and with decision-makers; support preparation for public hearings, briefings, comment opportunities, and other advocacy moments.Facilitate internal and external education and information sharing on offshore wind transmission and related policy objectives; translate technical and policy issues into accessible materials for partners and other audiences.Coordinate with policy staff to provide technical support to partners and coalitions, including research, drafting, and review of campaign and advocacy materials as needed.Manage select consultants, partner agreements, and related budgets as assigned; support grant reporting by documenting activities, outputs, and outcomes.Serve as a primary liaison to internal staff in the region to ensure alignment across state/regional priorities, messaging, and stakeholder engagement.Complete administrative and operational tasks that enable effective campaign delivery, including scheduling, note-taking, travel coordination, and maintaining organized digital records.Qualifications:At least 5 years of relevant experienceExperience using inclusive approaches in organizing campaigns, leading multi-stakeholder coalitions, and working across differencesDemonstrated campaign experience, including developing strategy, executing tactics, and tracking progress toward measurable goals and deliverablesKnowledge of or experience with advocating for policy solutions at the state levelDemonstrated experience utilizing environmental justice organizing principles - recognizes the role of race, gender, and other identities in shaping perspectives, and the disparate impacts our existing energy system has on marginalized communitiesStrategic thinking and vision - quickly grasps the subtleties of complex issues, and identifies ways to tackle problems with insight and equity and a solutions orientationCapably leads partners in articulating shared goals and strategies.Excellent writer and communicator; able to translate complex policy and technical topics into clear, compelling materials for diverse audiences and to facilitate productive conversations with partners and decision-makersStrong interpersonal communication skills, with a track record of navigating and strengthening established rela
