We’re proud to share our story and Make Amazing Happen at CDW.Job summaryThe Deputy Program Manager provides direct Contract Management for assigned contracts or portions of very large contracts, Deputy Program Managers maximize contracts performance and ensure compliance with all commitments, including regulatory and operational components. This role is supporting our education segment.What you will doIn concert with Program Manager, Legal, and other stakeholders, draft and negotiate master sales agreements, special programs, teaming agreements, amendments, addenda, and other contractual documents, as neededEducate sellers, partners, and customers on proper contract usageWork with assigned Contract Analysts and ensure proper accounting and timely delivery of fees, rebates, service level reporting, and other data-related deliverables associated with the contractsServe as consultant to the Pre-Award teams and provide strategic guidance to help construct profitable, manageable programs, that maximize profits and minimize riskManage pricing across contracts; work with partners to drive best price scenariosMaintain internal resources for integral contract information utilized by the businessMaintain repository of contract and associated materials, in accordance with established policyEnsure appropriate closeout of concluded contractsWhat we expect of youBachelor’s degree2 years of relevant contracts management experienceAdvanced in Microsoft ExcelEffective communication skills (verbal and written)Strong problem solvingStrong project management skillsKnowledge of standard procurement contracting and proposals processAbility to develop, analyze, and interpret complex statistical data and/or to develop contracting strategiesAbility to work effectively and collaboratively to solve contract matters and drive desired business outcomesOperates autonomously with minimal guidance requiredAbility to influence decisions and motivate positive changeImpeccable attention to detail and produces high quality work productExperience with handling sensitive, confidential matters appropriatelyProficient in MS Word, outlook, PowerPoint and AccessAbility and willingness to travel 10% or as needed to other CDW locations, meeting and client siteBachelor's degree, is a plus3 to 5 years of experience managing or administering contracts within the IT or a similar industry, is a plusKnowledge of CDW/CDWG Business Systems, is a plusAdvanced in MS Excel (including vLookup), Word, PowerPoint and Access, is a plusServed as a team leader or influencer in previous roles, is a plusExperienced presenter and/or trainer, is a plusContract negotiation experience, is a plusPreference work environment is hybrid in Illinois or Connecticut, however open to consider remote virtual candidates (need to be Central or Eastern time zone) for those that do not reside near CDW office.Pay range: $70,000 - $97,200 depending on experience and skill setAnnual bonus target of 5% subject to terms and conditions of planBenefits overview: https://cdw.benefit-info.com/Salary ranges may be subject to geographic differentialsWe make technology work so people can do great things.     CDW is a leading multi-brand provider of information technology solutions to business, government, education and healthcare customers in the United States, the United Kingdom and Canada.
