Project Specialist – Global Critical Care Program

Role Summary:
The Project Specialist is responsible for coordinating, engaging in, and providing oversight of projects, budgets, processes, and the policies and procedures essential to the success of global and departmental programs.
This role focuses on organizing project activities, delegating tasks, and supporting implementation efforts in dynamic, evolving environments.
This team coordinates the day\-to\-day project activities across a global network of hospitals, including the following tasks:
* Support implementation of evidence\-based interventions, including the PEACE tool (Physical, Emotive, Autonomy, Communication, Economic, Transcendent domains)
* Facilitate communication between internal teams, regional partners, and hospitals
* Assist with project delegation, tracking progress, and ensuring deliverables are met
* Support development and standardization of processes, workflows, and tools
* Contribute to training and guidance for hospital teams adopting new systems
* Help organize and analyze implementation and quality improvement efforts
Program Impact
The team enables hospitals to identify clinical deterioration earlier and intervene more effectively, leading to improved patient outcomes. Through global collaboration and implementation science, the program helps institutions adapt best practices to their local context—especially in resource\-limited settings—driving meaningful improvements in pediatric critical care.
Minimum Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree
* 1\+ years of experience in program coordination.
* Some experience/knowledge in working with project planning tools like MS Project, Microsoft SharePoint, ServiceNow, Smartsheet, Clarity, Planview, MS Office is a plus.
Experience that would be great to have, but is not required:
* Project management experience, ideally in healthcare
* Exposure to quality improvement or implementation science
* Familiarity with clinical or healthcare environments
This position is well\-suited for someone who is highly organized with strong attention to detail, adaptable, and comfortable working in evolving, ambiguous environments. The ability to balance innovation with building structured processes and SOPs is important, as is great communication across diverse audiences.
* This role may be eligible for remote work. However, St. Jude requires all remote employees to:
* Travel to our Memphis campus for the interview process and/or orientation, if selected
* Travel to Memphis to work on\-site for one week per quarter, or as requested based on business needs, if hired
