We use modern technology to deliver streamlined, insightful, and actionable accounting support. As we grow, we’re looking for a Financial Controller who embodies ownership, efficiency, and proactive communication to lead our accounting team and serve as the primary contact for our clients. **Role Overview:** The Controller will play a key role in overseeing and executing monthly close processes for a diverse portfolio clients, primarily in the non\-profit industry with some for\-profit businesses. As the primary client contact, you’ll lead a team of 2\-3 accountants and bookkeepers, guiding them to deliver high\-quality, timely, and efficient financial services. We’re looking for an experienced, forward\-thinking leader, who is tech\-savvy, adaptable, and comfortable using cloud\-based accounting platforms. **Do Some (Or All) These Scenarios Describe You? If So, This Is Your Perfect Job!** · **At the Grocery Store:** You walk down the aisles with a meticulously prepared grocery list, categorized by aisle number and item type. You calculate the total bill in your head as you go, and feel the sense of accomplishment when the register amount is within a few dollars. You reorganize items on the checkout belt to maximize bagging efficiency. · **Making Weekend Plans:** When asked to hang out, you respond with a complete itinerary of the day’s events, including estimated travel times, meal options, and even a backup activity in case it rains. You seem to end up as the “designated navigator,” ensuring everyone gets to each stop at the precise time you planned. · **Assembling IKEA Furniture:** You not only read the entire instruction manual before touching a single part but also organize every screw and panel in order of assembly. You double\-check each step to avoid mistakes and then send a picture of the assembled furniture to friends with a message like, “This could withstand a tornado.” · **Watching a Movie:** When watching a movie, you take note of all plot inconsistencies and logical errors and may even rewind to verify if a detail was missed.
