They are focused on growth and are looking for business developers who can bring in new customer accounts and build their customer base.Position Overview:We are seeking a self-motivated Customer Sales Broker to prospect, develop, and bring in new business. This is a business development-focused role where you will be responsible for cold outreach, generating hot and warm leads, and securing new customer accounts. Once deals are closed, the company will take over and handle the operational execution. This role offers commission on closed deals and is ideal for someone with an existing book of business or strong sales drive.Key Responsibilities:Business Development & Lead GenerationConduct cold outreach to potential customers via phone, email, and LinkedInGenerate hot and warm leads for the company to convert and manageProspect new business opportunities and identify potential customersBuild pipeline of qualified leads and opportunitiesSales & Customer AcquisitionPresent the company's logistics and transportation solutions to prospective customersClose deals and bring in new customer accountsLeverage existing book of business to generate immediate revenue (preferred)Negotiate and secure customer commitmentsRelationship BuildingBuild strong relationships with potential customers through persuasive communicationUnderstand customer needs and position the company's services accordinglyMaintain professional and consultative approach throughout the sales processHandoff to OperationsOnce deals are closed, transition accounts to the company's operations teamEnsure smooth handoff with all relevant customer information and requirementsContinue to identify new business opportunities while operations manages existing accountsRequirements1-3 years of experience in sales, business development, or freight brokerage salesStrong customer service and interpersonal skillsExcellent communication abilities (verbal and written)Persuasion skills with ability to influence and close dealsSelf-motivated and driven to find and create new opportunitiesStrong work ethic with commitment to achieving resultsComfortable with cold calling and outbound prospectingProactive, hunter mentality for business developmentGoal-oriented with competitive drive to succeedAbility to work independently and manage own pipelinePreferred:Existing book of business or customer relationships in logistics/freightProven track record of bringing in new business and closing dealsExperience with cold outreach and lead generationBackground in freight brokerage or logistics salesKnowledge of the transportation and logistics industryWorkingconditions:Working schedule: Monday - Friday, 8-5 PM CSTWork mode - hybrid/remoteCompetitive Salary in USD10+ business days of paid time offEquipment providedA supportive teamRemote eligibilityJoin our team and become an integral part of our mission to provide reliable and efficient freight transportation solutions to our customers.HighlightsBrokerageUS LogisticsOriginally posted on Himalayas
