We are currently seeking an M&A VP/Director to join our deal execution team. This role is 100% remote, but may require some traveling.Position Summary:As an M&A VP/Director at Partner One, you will play a pivotal role in driving the entire M&A lifecycle, from identifying opportunities to transaction close. Successful candidates will thrive under pressure, think quickly, adapt rapidly to changing situations, and consistently drive transactions forward with urgency and precision.RequirementsCore Responsibilities:Relationship Building:Build and maintain strong relationships with owner-operators, investment bankers and large corporationsConduct early-stage discussions with business owners and senior executives to qualify targets for strategic fit and deal probabilityLeadership:Manage and mentor a team of analysts and associatesFoster a culture of accountability, urgency, and execution excellenceTransaction Leadership:Independently lead M&A transactions from origination through closingDrive multiple live transactions simultaneously while maintaining exceptional attention to detailCollaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure seamless and efficient executionOffer Structuring & Negotiation:Prepare and negotiate indicative offers, including Letters of Intent (LOIs), ensuring alignment with Partner One’s strategic objectivesLead negotiations with counterparties in a dynamic and fast-moving deal environmentQualifications:Professional Experience:5+ years of progressive experience in accounting, corporate development, investment banking, or private equity, including at least 3 years focused on software M&ADemonstrated expertise executing M&A transactions with a proven track record of successfully closing dealsStrong relationship-building and negotiation experienceSkills & Attributes:Ability to think quickly, make sound decisions under pressure, and operate effectively in a high-volume transaction environmentExceptional attention to detail with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced settingStrong written and verbal communication skills, particularly in relationship management and transaction-related writingHighly organized, self-motivated, and execution-orientedFlexibility:Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet aggressive deadlines, and adapt to variable hoursWillingness to travel as needed to facilitate transaction executionBenefitsEstimated Compensation Range: $100,000-$150, 000 USD annually + BonusOriginally posted on Himalayas
