Bookeeper to support CPA firm with clients

We are seeking a detail\-oriented Bookkeeper to support a reputable CPA firm by managing client accounts and ensuring accurate financial record\-keeping. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical accounting skills, experience with various accounting software, and a solid understanding of client relations. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work supporting diverse clients. **Duties** * Manage and maintain accurate financial records for multiple clients using accounting software such as QuickBooks. * Perform general ledger accounting, including journal entries, account analysis, and general ledger reconciliation * Conduct bank reconciliations and account reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy * Prepare financial reports including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements * Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable processes efficiently. * Support budgeting activities and provide insights through financial report writing. * Conduct account analysis to identify discrepancies or irregularities. **Requirements** * Proven experience with Quickbooks desktop and online. * Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial concepts, and technical accounting principles * Experience with corporate accounting. * Proficiency in bank reconciliation, journal entries, account reconciliation, and balance sheet reconciliation. * Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple client accounts effectively * Strong understanding of debits \& credits, general ledger accounting, and financial report writing * Ability to work independently while maintaining high standards of accuracy and confidentiality This position is integral to supporting the CPA firm’s mission of delivering precise financial services to clients across various sectors.
